	TESTIMONY: I was very young when I felt the call of the Lord on my life.  I remember in The First Assembly Of God in Belhaven, NC, Pastor Gerald Bohler had an altar service one evening and said that if anyone felt the calling of the Lord on their lives to come up so that he could pray for them.  At the age of seven, I knew I felt the tugging of the Lord.  Brother Bohler asked just what I wanted from the Lord.  I told him that I wanted to sing and play the piano for him.  He poured annointing oil on my hands and rubbed them together and prayed.  I felt the spirit when it filled me.  I held onto that feeling and believed with child like faith that God was going to answer my prayer. At the age of 8, I was playing the piano for my church when our regular pianist was out.  It wasn't very professional, but at least God was moving and answering prayer in my life. Around that same time, I was singing to the top of my lungs with several good friends. When I was a senior at Wilkenson High School, I really found a true friend for life, Mrs. Paula Webster Sherman. We started singing together in High School, later in our local churches.  She later married on of my school mates and began attending my church.  Paula had written several songs that really touched my heart and I wanted to sing them.  We started a small group that is now known as Double Portion.  Paula and I have been blessed with Jennifer, Roger, Tracey, and Michelle.  Togeteher, we consider our group a family. God has blessed us through our lives.  We fully depend on him for everything we do and for every breath we breathe.  He has never let me down in all the years of my salvation.  I love the Lord with all of my heart and pray that he will use me in the way that he sees fit for my life. 	TESTIMONY: I was raised in Gospel Music.  Many of my family members have also been involved with Gospel Groups. It was only about 5 years ago that I began to realize the whole truth about God's work.  As a Christian, I failed but thank God for his Grace!  I didn't really and truly understand the depth of his love and mercy.  Since that time, it is as though my whole perspective on this wonderful walk with God has changed and grown.  I am his hands, his feet and his voice.  I want to make the best of this one chance that he has given me.  I know that God leads and that is our chance to do what God has prepared us to do.  I don't ever want to stray away from the motive that I have for this ministry. 	TESTIMONY: Life is so good with Jesus!!  I am so thankful fo my salvation and the relationship that I have with him.  He has blessed me with a husband and four wonderful children.  My family is so important to me and I thank God for them. God has been so good to me.  I have seen him work in situations that seemed impossible.  I have seem him answer prayer time and time again.  He is so faithful and his love for us is so great.  I really can't imagine a day without him.  I have been singing with Double Portion for about 8 years.  I know that God has had his hand on this group every step of the way.  It amazes me when I sit back and look at how God has used Double Portion to win lost souls, heal broken hearts and encourage the heavily burdened.
